about

Beast Machine's new single “Look What You’ve Done” is a song about addiction, specifically the opioid crisis and the mind-blowing fact the abuse still rages today.
The sample grab at the start of the song is from one of the ‘experts’ spruiking for the big pharmaceutical companies saying if the patient is dope sick then just up their medication.

lyrics

Open wide, let it slide, can’t sleep through the night in pain
It fits real tight, timed to self destruct, we’re broken

Slave to the grind
Of the truth we hide
Crank up the dose
Till we don’t know what we done

No vital sign
But we don’t know why
Never testify
But silence is the gun
Now look what you done

We’re well defined, keep dying all the time in vein
No end in sight, it tears through my life, I’m broken

Slave to the grind
Of the truth we hide
Crank up the dose
Till we don’t know what we done

No vital sign
But we don’t know why
Never testify
But the silent hold the gun
Now look what you done

Won’t right these wrongs - broken
Look what you done - broken
Won’t right these wrongs - broken
Look what you done - broken

Look what you done

about

Beast Machine Sydney, Australia

Beast Machine’s sound has been likened to a fight between Kyuss, High on Fire and Slayer. Their live show has been described as sounding heavier than a collapsed star, like a tank full of T-Rex’s. They’ve just finished recording their first album in the US with legendary producer Luke Gerard Webb. A must listen for fans of Thrash, Metal, Rock, Punk and Doom. ... more
